Letter to the University of Duisburg / Essen:
Foreword
Besides my actual profession, I was studying, teaching and reading over a period of fifty years.
But reading alone is not enough to change your perception of the world. What it takes is a considerable amount of experience.
To my opinion, the United Nations are one of the most important organs to strive for the progress and development of mankind. Their founders, however, have made an essential scientific mistake. I am convinced that amending the Charter would help to save thousands of people from harm every year.
I have developed my theory and scientific work on this subject, showing opportunities to solve conflicts and bringing up the visions of a more peaceful modern world.
I would like to point out that my work is not based on any political motivation, but merely focussing on humanity.
Therefore, I am asking you to make this issue and my theorie the subject of a round table discussion and to talk about the matter. The University of Essen seems to me the most suitable environment and venue for such debate. It is for this reason that I am referring to you by the following letter.
Dear Sir,
it was by the coincidences in life that I came to Essen in Germany at old age, where I now have the pleasure to live. Who I am and what I would like to say is summarized in the enclosed document. The theory and the subject of public discussion that I would like to offer is dealing with social conflicts all over the world and will likely have an enormous effect throughout the society.
A couple of years ago, I had already provided my books to the University of Essen and tried to present my work. However, I did not receive the answer I was hoping for, which I regretted very much.
Nonetheless, I regard it a very important task for all of us to discuss this subject on the basis of human history. I would therefore be very delighted if you could initiate a round table discussion, involving professors from the faculties of history and philosophy, sociologists, students as well as UN representatives. For particularly the envoys of the United Nations are assigned a particular importance in my theory. Should you agree to my proposal and wish me to join the round table discussions personally, it would be a pleasure for me to take part in the talks and to explain my theory to everyone. Having an interpreter at hand or at least one person in the group speaking Persian would be perfect. If possible, I would also be prepared to ask my son to accompany me and translate the contents of our talks for me.
Dear Sir, time is an incalculable factor. We do not know how much of it remains for us. We can only decide to use it to our best. We can help people and support a positive development coming into being, or we can keep pushing aside and ignoring the problems and conflicts of our modern world.
Once again, I would like to emphasize that my theory is merely driven by a humane motivation and aiming at the achievement of a better world. My work is in no way motivated by any political or other personal interests, nor do I wish to gain attention hereby. I would feel sincerely honored if you took the time to deal with my request and to consider the possibility of a round table discussion.
I am looking forward to your very much appreciated and, hopefully, positive reply.
Yours sincerely,
Dr. Ali Fasih
